UC Berkeley & BERC are hosting Smogathon, an international competition for the best air pollution solution. Founded in 2015 in Poland, the country with the worst air quality in the EU, Smogathon has been attracting technological talent from the entire globe by offering cash prizes and funding for implementation. Apply by August 12 to compete in the North American semi-final in Berkeley on October 4. Winners will travel to Poland for the final and will have a chance to win at least $15,000 in cash plus implementation funding!
